![]() ![]() So get what you can afford and be happy with. I'm pretty sure the GT Omega ones are made in China as well. Regarding the rig, I think sometimes you can find some models from different brands. But it's a pretty easy way of attaching the handbrake. Not sure how close you want it for drift. I wanted more of a rally style handbrake position. I added the spacers as I didn't know how long they should be. You'd just need to go to the hardware store and buy 2 longer screws which you can tighten with an allen key. And since the handbrake uses smaller screws, they go through. The 2 holes in the picture match the two outer holes in the handbrake. Either way, I think they both use the same holes to attach the shifter plate. It seems more similar to the classic variant of what GT Omega offers. Sorry, when I first read your comments and looked at the rig link, I did a quick glance. But if I would have had a better rig, I think other alternatives, such as Heusinkveld, are far better. I chose this because of the price and the rig. So if you take the 2 outer ones of the three at the bottom, you can buy longer versions of the same thread and add some spacers between the handbrake and shifter mount. The side screws for the handbrake can fit through these holes. You can see from the pictures that the shifter mount has 2 holes on the side, so you can mount it left or right. Looking at your other comment, I have the GT Omega Apex wheel stand. ![]() When you adjust the spring stiffness in side, it will also adjust the throw of it and might mean you have it slightly on. Try to calibrate it once and then don't touch it. It's good to lube it up from the beginning. Maybe not an inconvenience to some as it doesn't add play when pulling on it, but I found that off for the price. So you can push it back and forth a little bit because of spacing in the nuts and bolts. That's also because the controller is on that upper part. It's better to add some foam/rubber underneath that screw so it stays in place. If you remove the upper top screw, you can fold it up. The top part with the controller is not secured properly. In the end, I removed any calibration and used the back screw to calibrate it. For some reason, it would always change the calibration after each restart so I'd end up having the handbrake on in the game. A few things to know about it.Ĭalibrating it from windows is pointless. First one broke in a month (maybe because it was plugged in 100% of the time?) and the second one I've had for over a year. I have the first one, bought it from amazon germany. ![]()
